Ratings & Comments (Average: )
- case fit my needs - until it failed I've been really happy with this case (marware 3g nano sportsuit relay). I purchased it a little shy of two years ago & have run in hot & humid summer days, rainy days, as well as some cold weather days. I don't run a whole lot (I only did about 80-90 miles last year), but the case has held up under that use.
PROS: it's the best case for running with a nano w/ the nike+ transmitter attached. fits my wrist well - looks like an overgrown watch. The nike+ sensor case that velcro's over *any* shoe's shoelaces is a great idea. The combo has served me well until 2 days ago (more on that later).
CONS: the case is stretchy and form fitting - so getting the nano w/ nike+ transmitter in and out is sometimes hard. The armband extension is a little flimsy.
When I ran 2 days ago, the Nike+ unit could not find the sensor in my shoe. I figured the battery had died (more due to age than use) and purchased another sensor. I ran with the new sensor today and again the transmitter could not find the sensor!! After my run, I took the *old* sensor and placed it my Nike+ shoe (unfortunately, the shoe doesn't fit my feet as well as some competitors - hence the need for the sensor case) in the well designed for the sensor - the transmitter immediately found the sensor. All I can guess is that the Marware case was somehow blocking the sensor from being found. I don't know why this suddenly happened - I had not run in about 4-5 days prior to this and it was not under unusual circumstances. If this hadn't happened, I would likely rate this product 4-5 stars. At present, I would rate it 3.5 stars. Now I have to find another case for the nike+ sensor (thankfully, there are a lot more options than there were 2 years ago).
- Very good Perfect for what it is, and a great price point. I've been using this with my nano and nike+ for over 2 years and it's still holding up well, although the bottom where the nike+ chip attaches is starting to wear through.
- Awesome! I wish I knew this existed sooner. I had something similar for a long time, but it didn't come with the place for the Nike+ chip. This does. It wraps around your hand like my old one did, which I find really convenient when it comes to changing songs/volume during a workout. But if you prefer it on your arm, it comes with another band you can velcro on to do that too. It ALSO comes with a pocket for the Nike+ thing that goes into Nike+ enabled shoes...so you can use it with shoes that are NOT Nike+ enabled too. Sweet.
- Good product and got more than I expected. This looks really small when you open it but everything fits fine. As far as quality it is pretty durable and made of a thin stretchable material but seems like it could rip easily. I also ordered the shoe pod for the Nike + chip and didnt realize that this came with one which is good. Speedy service and would recommend this product and company.
- Run Run Run Band comes with a shoe lace pouch for the transmitter, which is great and pocket for the receiver that fits onto the bottom of your iPod is also great. Be careful putting the Ipod into the armband once the receiver is attached.
